isn't it? or, at least it is what Bertrand Russell said in The Problems of Philosophy (1912), i quote.
this link contain the works of world greatest philosophers, in a squashed version (readable, short version, summarized from the original work), with a hint about how much the time will need to read their masterpieces.
this is a good link for those who want to learn more about philosophy, about their original work, as i found philosophy is interesting (i would read them on my spare time). it is one thing that creates our world where we stand now.
i like to think, especially because life is full of interesting, yet undiscovered mysteries.
let me quote several of them (do you like any?): "If it is in our power to act nobly, it is also in our power to do evil." "Cogito, ergo sum" "if a man ... be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties." "there can be no hope without fear, and no fear without hope" "I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me." "The soul is the mirror of the universe" "Mankind is governed by pain and pleasure" "Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil" "God is the absolute truth." "...endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being evolved." "Gott würfelt nicht (God does not play dice)" "Can machines think?"
